Ind code 76 31421 0000I went out to one of these today. The fridge compartment is freezing up. the wet wall at the back is evenly freezing.
I notice for this model there is a diverter valve fitted on it. There is only 19v supply to this valve at the time of testing, however if i switch the fridge freezer off and back on again, it sends 49v to it. Personally I think it should be 240v.
I think the PCB is the route of the fault but I’m not entirley sure. It would seem there are 4 sensors on this unit. The sensors seem to be foamed into this and not changeable. I have read the resistances of them. 2 of the sensors read the same as do the other 2.
Not sure about this one, if I order up a PCB is it unconfigoured????
Help please..

That model is a bit problematic it could be the module but i’ve had a load of system faults on them, them the divertor valve doesnt give much problems at all. jj

Participanthad one recently turned out o be a system fault

If fridge to cold and freezer not really getting cold then main suspect is divertor valve, if not I would go with pcb.

I actualy forgot to mention the freezer is fine. If anything its probably running around -25 it felt that cold.
Im sitting tight on this one for now, but Im thinking more along the lines of PCB failure.Rob.

I’ve got one of these (FFM71) on the go now with exactly the same fault. Fridge evenly iced up and freezing the food, and the freezer at about -25. To eliminate the possibility of it being slight shortage of gas I recharged it and it’s exactly the same. The sensor resistances are all in line with the correct values. According to the manual if the diverter valve is stuck in the fridge cooling position the freezer only gets minimum cooling so I’m assuming the pcb is the problem.
Rob; did a new pcb cure the fault on yours in January?
