ParticipantWhen any program is selected the service light comes on and the start/pause light flashes. Tried switching on and off and reset buttons with little success. Seems to be stuck in mid program. Any assistance would be appreciated.

2 thoughts?….Blocked air bell or, more likely, motor brushes. 😉

Tried both these. I will try a new door switch, but these don’t come cheap.

if it was me my next move would be to check for L+N on the door lock or power door lock up seperatly to check operation you can find right terms with multimeter if it is a heater type
also find the live and switch wire to the machine and short out to see if it bursts into life
hope this helps

With any door switch like that with three tags, as long as you can figure out which terminal is which, you can just use extension test leads (spade one end, receptacle t’other) to link it up to a cheap Hotpoint red plastic lock and try it.

Thanks Dave got the switch. Same fault occurs. Letter with cash on its way. What board is fitted to the scrapper. The part numbers on this board are 4619 714 14743 Type C1 and 461975307543. Any chance they are the same?
