I have a Whirlpool ADP 6515 diswasher that when it starts ok and maybe 4 minutes into the wash cycle you can hear the machine making weird sounds ,I open the door and can see the wash powder dispenser door open but the powder is not dissolved just lying on the bottom of the machine.
I sound like a pump noise like trying to start and having trouble doing so

Once the machine has got about 15-20 mins into the washing the rest till completion seems to hassle free

Is there any way that a diagnostic procedure can be done to see if fault code shows

The machine only has the LED for the delayed start and the progress through the washing lights available.

    Any help would be appreciated

It looks very similar to our European models, so it may well have the infamous Askoll pump motor on it. Article about it HERE.

    Thanks Pengiun for the reply
I think it has something to do in the pump circuit / cycle as just after the sounds have been made you can hear the dishpowder lid opening in the dishwasher

Do you know how to do diagnostic testing on this mode and how to get into it
    Thanks

There are no diagnostics. If the machine faults, an error code is displayed by the start lamp flashing in a pattern, ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat whilst running the drain pump.
