    The washing machine programmer starts spinning shortly after starting a programme and then the light flashes twice, pause, flashes twice etc. I have another of these machines so I can change parts if necessary but haven’t got a clue what is causing it.

    PCB is sending power to the motor, but it thinks that it is no responding. Check drive motor carbon brush gear, check wiring to motor and pcb – if all in circuit, the pcb is the culprit.

    Power off if you intend to do this yourself.
