Customer rang up this afternoon asking me to go and have a look at a noise fault. He describes it as a “shaking noise” which appears at mid speed, even empty, but disappears again at full speed. He can’t feel any roughness when turning the drum by hand.
As he’s a bit far distant, I don’t want to make a special trip so asked him to hang on till I’ve got another job in his direction but promised under duress to make it one day this week. Any pointers please? Do these suffer from suspension or loose weights?
    Mike.
