1+3 is a blocked filter error.
You can sometimes clear it by doing a very hot wash with a dishwasher cleaner. If the internals are badly gunged up then a full strip down to clean them out is the only answer.
It could also be the turbidity sensor itself that is faulty.

hi thanks for the reply as i say not had much problems with these so excuse this question the turbidity sensor is that the part with the micro switch slotted into it at the sump ,did try and disconnect this with no joy .
cant even put it on a hot wash as it only fills for 8 secs then pumps out .
so might just have to strip it down .have had a similar fault with a whirlpool an had to fit a small card into the side tank its somesort of flow meter an noticed that this idl535 has something similar on the intake tank?February 2, 2009 at 10:48 pm #276017iadom

Having done a bit of checking up, this machine does not have a turbidity sensor in the true sense. Most turbidity sensors work via an infra red device beamed through the circulating water.
This machine is supposed to sense when the filters are becoming clogged and instigate a filter cleaning cycle. Both the pressure switch and the high pressure sensor switch are used to determine when filter cleaning is required.
The error code can be displayed if the pressure switch or the high pressure sensor switch ( the small, fat rubber hose and switch just under the tub above the circulation pump ) have failed.
If the machine has tried to run a filter cleaning cycle but failed to clear the obstruction the same error code will displayed.

check the thermal fuse in the circulation pump windings
it may have faiuled due to thermal and mechanical stress
i found this today 3 in a row all thermal fuses
one had loose tags and when i moved the connections on it
it worked then notso check the sensors
and other mechanical parts for jams
the pump for blockage and the circulation motor
for windows fusesJanuary 16, 2014 at 8:59 am #276019iadom

for windows fusesThree identical dishwashers with the same fault in the same day????
As this question was posed four years ago I’m guessing the problem has been solved by now, more than likely with a replacement.
PS, what is a Windows fuse?
