    Every so often this machine behaves exactly as if
    has a leak into base. ie drain pump running, wont
    fill etc. Cept there is no leak.
    I suspect the flow meter?

    Any one know for certain?

    a mouse has prob eaten the polystyrene safety float triggering the flood protection

    Wow that wouldnt be on my list of most likely causes.
    Given only happens every 6 weeks or so.

    On the other hand, has seen mice in diverse places,

    Probably blocked pressure chamber/hose causing red float to flood bringing on flood protection…..then water gradually seeps out and hey presto ! machine starts working again.
