Hi all, i have a hotpoint aqarius wm13 and the rubber door seal started leaking and upon inspection it had 3 holes in it.
Ive now replaced the door seal with a brand new one and now have water leaking out of the front of the machine, the leak is coming from between the door seal and the door itself…
Ive removed the seal many times now and tried my best to stop it leaking but to no avail….
Since this problem started i have encountered many other problems such as the machine filling up and just keeps filling up until i switch it off, also problems with final spin and the door lock refusing to open…Would be gratefull for any advice that can be give…

Re: Hotpoint Aqaurius front door leak with new seal
Its got a blocked pressure chamber, take the front of the machine off and its screwed into the side of the tub on the right hand side as you look at the drum. Its a white, half banana shaped tube with 2 small pipes coming out the top. Held on by 3 screws, will need a short phillips screwdriver to undo it.
Leaking door seal is probably due to too much water in the tub in the first place. May find you have burned the heater out as well.
unplug before doing anything.
