    The problem I have with this is the top plates and top oven work fine but the “Dish with steam” symbol is lit but the main oven does not heat. Have reset but still no go – Timer problem maybe?

    Fan element more like. You’ve probably got the spare part in your shop even?:wink:

    Sorry – should have said – The light will not go out at all. Is there a series of buttons to press to reset or delete any programme details that may be there? Book is missing

    If the fan is working in the oven yet not heating then it’s the element at fault.
