ParticipantI have the above washing machine. From the forum I went into diagnostic mode and the LEDs indicate 00101011. Previously the machine whilst in warm water temp mode, had an intermittent fault that caused the bowl when being filled in the wash cycle, to drain at the same time. This was intermittent and the suggestion at the time was the temp mixing controller. I have since been running the machine in COLD mode only.
The machine starts to fill with cold water for about 1 second, stops filling, the bowl goes to agitate as it would normally do during water filling but only moves for about 1 second. It goes to agitate every second or so without actually moving. It is as if the motor is loading up agaiinst a resistance and then stopping. It does this for a few minutes and then the machine stops with 4 lights illuminating and beeps repeatedly. Can any one please help with diagnostics and a possible solutionFebruary 5, 2009 at 8:04 pm #276286Penguin45

Diagnostics are in the “sticky” at the top of the forum.

Aha! The good old ‘out of balance’ switch fault. Top deck off, switch attached to the pendulum. It suffers from corrosion and damp as well as rotten wiring. Make sure that the bias spring is attached to the tub whilst you’re in there.
Power off first……….
