    Hi

    I am trying to plan my kitchen and am struggling to find the right fridge/freezer.

    I want to try and get something with lots of freezer space – either a freestanding fridge/freezer or an American style side by side (but would need to be one without a plumbed water section as I have nowhere to plumb this). The space I have is up to about 90cm.

    Any recommendations would be really helpful

    I`ll have a look on Monday when I`m back at my desk. This is the first opportunity I`ve had of being online, due to the darn white stuff and no bt line.

    This Whirlpool 20RBD1L is about as big as I can find on a side by side.

    Another option would be to have a large freezer in the gap say 60 wide and a small 30cm unit taking up the rest of the space, with a smaller fridge elsewhere in the property.

    Or you increase the size up to 120cm and have a matching pair side by side to give the “American” look. You could even reverse the hinge on one door as well.

    Thanks for the reply. I will check out the side by side.

    There was some good ideas there – unfortunately I have no room for any appliances elsewhere and 90cm is my limit for the space.

    If I dont go for the side to side (width space is limited as well so I am not sure if I want it sticking out so far) I may instead go with my original plan and find a standard f/freezer with big freezer space. Largest I can find at the moment is a Hotpoint with 135l of freezer space (60cm wide but taller than avg). However from reading these forums Hotpoint isn’t the best brand to go for – has anyone seen any trad f/freezers with large freezer space?

    Hi newnhak

    I have gone through the A-Z and I have found two which are almost as big as the Hotpoint 😉 Liebherr CN3913 and the Whirlpool ARC8140/1 there is nowt bigger unless you go for seperates.
