    Pump and heater come on but no motor action. Drum free, tried cap, continuity through three motor wires. Have I missed something before I order a timer? Comments and experience gratefully received

    Sounds like the timer if everything else checks out, not common but they do fail. JJ

    Last one of these i looked at with no motor action, it was a fault on the timer but tapping the timer with a screwdriver made the motor start–with a bit of burnning smell. 😕

    Yep timer sorted mine as well.

    That edge by timer is a bit on the sharp side. 😥
