I do a lot of work for a landlord who has a lot of Beko WMA510W installed. Bearing failures are a big problem. I usually tell him its BER, But was bored the other day, and decided to strip one. Problem number one is the pulley bolt. Huge head and tiny Torx socket. THe head is soft, so I haksawed a nick in the edge, and tapped round with a hammer and an old screwdriver.Came out easy. Bearings came out easy, although front one had collapsed. Shaft was a bit damqaged, but cleaned up OK.
Here is the big problem, the spider does not seem to be available as a sperate item. My supplier says complete drum only, at £63. The big question is, does anyone know where I could source a spider, and/or a bearing kit?
