    Hi,

I thought I read quite sometime ago that the very short hose (2″) from the
motor outlet to the sump is not available as a spare part.

    Am I correct?

Ihave just fitted a 2 inch hose on whirlpool dishwasher classed as a hose kit price £28.64 supplied by whirlpool as the last time i wanted one had to order complete motor rip off or what .

Its is a rip off as such, but when you consider the new motor is 200{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} better quality than the old, and saves them an almost certain motor change in future, then its still saving the customer dosh over time.

It’s parts rationalisation. The Askoll motor is not a service item ‘cos it’s rubbish and they know it, so that’s replaced en bloc by the CESET motor. If the outlet hose kit for that motor is available, a part number would be useful.

    Chris.
