    Hello,
    If I start my machine on the usual program D (40 degree wash) it fills OK but won’t progess any further. If I then manually move the timer on a bit it continues fine.
    Any ideas what the fault might be please? The machine is getting on a bit but I’m reluctant to scrap it if it’s economically fixable!

    Hi Brian, it sounds like your heater element is not working.
    The machine will fill then switch over to the heater.

    Have a look in the shop for a heater and see if it’s worth repairing.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the tip, that sounds very economic 🙂

    I’m surprised if it’s been washing with cold water all this time though. Next time I’ll try a hotter wash and see if I can feel any heat thru the door.
