    Hi, I have a problem with a Smeg dishwasher Type 12033 and model DW164 – it will drain but not wash.

    I’d appreciate any heads up as to whether it’s an easy (read ‘not too expensive’) fix, or whether I should cut my losses, save on the repair call out fee and just get a new one.

    If I haven’t supplied enough information to decipher the fault, please let me know. I’m relying on my very non-technical boyfriend to give me the info on the problem and he seems to think the above is enough.

    prob wash motor exspensive or maybe capacitor on motor need technical ability to change this tho 😆

    Thanks for your reply! It wasn’t cheap to fix in the end, but certainly not as expensive as buying a new one!
