Please can anyone help me. I have a Candy CPC240 FF GB fridge-freezer and I need to re-hinge the doors to the other side due to moving the kitchen about.
Now I can’t remember if I had spare hinges to do this when I purchased it but having taken the doors off, the one’s that came off don’t fit the other side no matter which way I try to fit them.

I’m probably being very thick here but can someone please put me out of my misery and tell me what to do.

    Re: Re-hinging doors

Bottom and middle hinges should move across. Top hinge on the early variants has a removable pin, which can be inserted in the other side of the bracket and then the whole thing can be inverted. Later versions require you to replace the hinge – p/no 49005115 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you promptly if required.

Thanks Penguin45 the one we have now doesn’t fit the holes if you invert it, it seems too short to hold the door anyway that way round.

Please can you tell me if that part number is a modified reversible one, I’m looking to hang the door on the left as you look at the appliance also please have you any idea of cost including P&P and time frame, I’m in such a muddle here with doors off and all the food down the road 😥

The part number is specifically for reversing the top hinge. Contact spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk amd they will give you prices and availabilty etc.
