Hi I went to one of these today that will run for 20 mins then stop.
When it stops I can still hear the main timer ticking but not alot else.
If you wait a few mins and try again it will work again.
Anyone come across this before?
Cheers, Ray
Hi Thanks for that. We thought at first it could be the relay but when we have had the relays go in the past pushing the start button or keeping it held in would get it going again, but not in this case.
Thanks, Ray
😳 What I perhaps should have said is they don’t seem to fail in the same way. With the old type relay you often found that holding the start button in allowed the machine to run. On the only one of the PCB type that I have had fail, holding the button in did not keep the dryer running.
TBH I have changed loads of these on Hoover/Candy machines but only the one on Hotpoint dryers.
