My washing machine just keeps filling up with water.I have been cleaning out crud from my machine.I have removed and washed out the plastic moulding at the back left of the machine. Now what happens is that when I start a wash cycle my machine just continues to fill.  I believe there is an air pressure switch that should stop the filling, but I don’t known where it is. Am I on the right lines or have I got another problem? (Note the machine will stop filling when I turn the power off.)Help greatly appreciated 😥

Pressure vessel (chamber with small bore hose coming from it to pressure switch) is likely to be blocked. Or pressure hose pipe damaged.

Yup, front opens like a cupboard door so as you can get at it. Power off, pull out the air bell and clean it. Heater may well have failed though – then you have to deal with Miele. BBiigg bill……

Bet this won’t appear on their social network website!

Thanks guys. Your posts lead me to the solution! –

Once I got the bell hose off and felt up inside the drum I found the blocked pipe to the pressure chamber.

I’m not sure about the heating element yet, Just running a wash now to see.

    Cheers Panda_BW 😀
