    I have a new Whirlpool AWG 5122 washing machine. It is working ok except that it is not taking the fabric conditioner. I have taken the draw out and checked for blockages but it is all clean.
    Am I doing something wrong or do I need to call a service engineer?

    If it’s new, there is a problem which needs to be solved. It’s probably related to the “steering mechanism” on the top of the soap box. The holes in the roof of the soap box are prone to clogging up, but this takes time…..

    Call ’em out.
