I went to look at a noisy wt960 today, I found that the front weight was loose this happened all of a sudden. Is it a common fault for this to come loose or is there a long term fix for this as i have just tightened the bolts up at the moment. Can i just walk away after tightening them up or are they going to come loose again.

Time will tell, it just depends how much damage has been done to the plastic mounts.

The only long term fix is a new drum. 😥

    Thanks Jim
I was just wondering if there was a modification on the bolts or drum. Will warn customer if loose again then it will have to be new drum

I allways take the weight off wrap tape around the plastic lugs
untill the weight fits tight, and put some superglue on the bolts.
Never had a problem after that.
