    Hi please could somebody offer me some advice?

    When I bought my flat two years ago it was fitted with an Ariston Dishwasher LS 45/50 but I have never been able to locate a manual. From reading several posts and websites I think its an old model yet until yesterday it has been working fine.

    When I press the on button and close the door the machine wont work. It usally makes a gurgling sound before it starts but nothing is happening. Any ideas?

    The appliance is on.
    The salt light is on (yes, I have checked, it has salt although I am never sure how much to put in and there is usally alot of water in the dispenser).
    I have checked the inlet valve and this is clear.
    The cold water is working.

    Any suggestions will be greatly recived.

    Door latch microswitch used to have a bad habit of melting on these. That’ll stop it dead.

    Power off if you’re going to investigate this yourself.
