    Mod AW1260, Type N6E12, PrN 914215201(04)

Went to this machine, fault was wire wire pulled out of heater rast plug, left for the customer to do a wash. Customer now complained of clothes being wet at end of programme. Went to investigate, checked filter and sump hose, perfectly clean. Put on prog 15 spin, machine filled to low level, tumbled for a short period, pumped out and then went into spin.
I thought machine was Ok, but when the spinning stopped, I left it for the door to unlock, the machine then filled to about 3 inches, tumbled for 2 minutes, pumped out and then switched off, and unlocked the door.

Obviously, the clothes which had been spun were now wet again.

Have checked heater circuit for contnuity and earth faults, had pcb out and checked, all OK. Inclined to think possibly interlock.

Any body any ideas, Thanks Martin.

It is possible that the lead from the rast plug has touched an earth position and frazzled the PCB. EMW (http://www.emwelec.co.uk) do these @ £39.90 + VAT. Interlock faults will almost always blow tracks on the board. Run the diagnostics to see if that will give you a fault code.

    HTH,

    Steve.
