ParticipantHi all
Can anyone help with the following fault on the above machine.
During any cycle the machine just stops and the digital “wash time” display stops counting down, this can happen on any program, When it stops, sometimes the start/pause LED is flashing, also during a cycle the door LED cycles between being on and off, I also witnessed the machine trying to go into a spin during a wash cycle while there was water in the machine, this only lasted a couple of seconds before it stopped and carried on as normal. I should say that these faults can be intermittent as sometimes the machine will complete the cycle ok. I have checked the heater, thermistor and motor, all seem to be ok, I have also checked the pressure chamber and hoses for blockages and all were clear. I am begining to think that it may be a module fault, does anyone have a service manual for this machine and any suggestions would be appreciated, this is my own machine so i am very keen to keep it going.
Thanks

Ok, after running the diagnostic program the machine shows an E35 fault on all the water intake tests, it also shows an E61 fault on the heating test, now this is fine, but the problem I have with this is that at no time during any of the faults described above do I get an error code, the machine just sits there doing nothing, so Iām not too sure that I trust the test results, anyone got any suggestions.
Thanks

If the machine picks up a fault during a normal cycle it will only show certain generic faults to the customer. Normally ones which they can do something about such as E10, E20, E40. If you go into the diagnostics the different tests should only be run to check the operation of valves pump motor etc. The last stored error code will be shown if you continue through the tests. If you set the machine on a wash until it faults then go into the diagnostics and click through the tests until you get an error code shown. Some faults just stop the cycle, some stop it and run the drain pump and some carry on through the programme and just store the code.

e35 – Analogic Pressure switch problem, if you havent changed the element just check that as this can also sometimes throw up the e35 fault code, not sure why but does! Obviously before changing the analogic (black) pressure switch check for blockage etc.
I used to work for service force so know these machines well!!…..

Thanks very much for the replies. Sorry for taking so long to get back but I am just snowed under at work just now.
Since posting the machine has worked perfectly for four full cycles, until last night, it stopped about 15 minutes into the cycle and just sat there doing nothing, when I went into the fault codes it showed an E52 error which suggests no signal from the motor tacho, I think I may have a motor for this machine so I will just replace it and also look into what Minge suggests. I will post back to let you know how I get on. Thanks again.Brian

e52 – definitely motor issue. š
