And on we move…
Apparently they’ve been given a six month stay of execution as far as service goes. As in, make it pay within six months or the fat lady is singing for Comet service… again!
Given what I’ve found out recently I doubt it will be there by the end of the year unless they dig up a miracle.
Apart from which, they are apparently on stop totally with one major manufacturer that I’ve been told of. Someone else with access here can elaborate if they like.
This could create mayhem.

I know that Whirlpool put them on stop and TBH it doesnt affect us, all we got were the crap jobs that Comet couldn’t fix. It would be good for us though if the service side did go as we used to do a lot of appliances under Whirlpool guarantee and AON policies before they took it in house.
