I’ve got a Neff R4381X1GB/01 where the drive belt is broken and I’m not at all sure how to access the drive shaft to replace it?

Does the front fan have to come off in order to slide the belt along the shaft? Or maybe both fans removed and the motor taken out of the fan housing at the back?

Any assistance would be much appreciated. 😀

I assume you mean the small belt

Remove front fan, wiring to motor and “handle” that holds it in place, note the position of the motor BTW.

Then everything pulls out towards the back. Nice and easy job really.

Yes indeed the small belt is required. Thanks Superfix for the advice there I will give it a go. Just one more question….the pulley on the shaft with what appears to be a allen screw fixing…I don’t need to touch that then?

IIRC, no need to touch the pulley at all.

just remember that the rear cover plate has to be removed to allow the motor/rear fan blade to be slid back enough to allow the front of the shaft to come free.
