    Not been out to this yet.

    Possible Enr: SM12011GB/15

    Complaint of taking excessive time to complete cycle.

    Machine is apparently heating.

    It was in the house when this customer moved in so she has no idea how old it is.

    Any pointers would be helpful. 🙂

    Lots of possibilities here Jim :-

    Gunged up transfer hose
    Sticking float switch
    Timer drive shaft slipping
    Scaled up inlet nozzle at top of matrix allowing overfill
    Sticking inlet/safety valve
    Door wiring harness probs
    Dodgy heater and or stats

    Enough for now I guess……..HTH? 😀

    Thanks Martin,

    Wasn’t quite sure just what model it was, couldn’t find it on the Bosch site.

    If its the bog standard Bosch/Hotpoint type then I will have a head start. 8)

    Correct. 🙂 Called this morning.

    Its a very old machine, fill/pressure switch valve is faulty. One of these from Hotpoint is now £87 ex vat. 😯

    Will check out the Bosch alternative but the age of the machine is against it. 😥

    EDIT. SMI2011/GB doesn’t appear to be recognised on the Bosch eSpares site either. 😥

    It does if you search on SMI2011GB/15 😀

    091051 Inlet/Safety Valve comes in at £36 + Vodka & Tonic (Ice and a slice with that maybe?)
