    hi,
i changed the thermostat kit and 2 days later it was gone again,
after carefull examination the heater is still on when the machine is off,
ie. when the timer clicks back to zero the element glows red hot until you open the door.
i only noticed cause i could see it glowing through the screw holes for the drum shaft cover.
obviosly this is dangerous and i would welcome any advice thanks.

Never seen one of these but if it’s just a jammed relay, it shouldn’t be too difficult to repair ❓ . RS, Maplin, CPC – one of them has probably got suitable replacements.

I spoke to Tony at EMW and he said that they found the microprocessor corrupted most of the time , thats why they don’t repair them.

I don’t suppose you would have anything to lose by trying a relay though.
