We need to get the stuff back from Adrian first, before we can make a decision.

I dunno what’s up with Adie but I wish he’d talk to us. I think he’s under pressure after a skirmish with Electrolux and back on the road I think John said. Just the same problem we all have, time I suppose.
Shame as he got bailed into it and seemed to be getting it done. 🙁
However, there’s no point putting extra pressure on the guy if he has problems elsewhere.

Firstly, I’d like to apologise to everyone for not being able to attend the last 2 meetings. Jo and I have probably had the worst 12 months of our lives (you know why) and along with Jo’s ongoing operations for her hand, these problems have severely impacted on my involvement with the WTA.
I sent my input to the November meeting via Lawrence (which I hope was helpful) but it became clear that while the meetings are important, another point of contact was needed. I know that the social element is part of it, but when you cannot attend, it removes you from the loop for a while. Lawrence kindly sent me an e’mail on the WTA meeting in February, but I received a Smeg dishwasher manual instead. 😆 No worries Lawrence….can you send me it again? Thanks!!
I hope Ade stays on board as he has done so much towards this venture, it would be a great shame if he pulled out. He did a great job with the draft COP.
At the September meeting I suggested we set up some sort of on – line conferencing that we could have more regular meeting to suit everyone.
When the OFT information is available, is it possible that we could set up something along those lines? Maybe it would allow things to progress more smoothly, rather than waiting for e’mails and PM’s. Set a time and date to suit everyone; most of us are on UKW at least one night a week so let’s talk!!
Over to you – is this worth trying?Steve.

You know Sean does my head in about face-to-face to meetings and this will actually surprise him…
We need to do a face-to-face.
Yes Sean, I did actually say that. 😉
There’s a lot to work out and strategy to be done, to do that any other way than in person is, cumbersome.
There’s a few things I’d like to get straight in my head, I don’t know about the rest of you. There’s also a few things I’m trying to have done with UKW that will require more than a conference call to explain if I can pull it all off. Trying to do that in an emotionless void is, cumbersome.
And, in the end, I’m the poor bugger that has to be driving 500 odd miles to do it and if I’m prepared to do that and pretty much take two days out then you can probably get that I think it’s worth the effort. 😉

agreed face to face is needed ,mainly for strategy and a way forward .

The suggestion was to use conferencing as a means to discuss issues between meetings and not as an alternative to them. 😉 Being in the unfortunate position (not being able to attend) has meant that I am unable to contribute until I know where we are now.
Hopefully when the COP info comes back, I can catch up.Steve.
