    Hi
Please can anyone help. I have had ongoing temperature problems with my FF92 fridge/freezer I have read all the threads on this forum. I had an engineer out to replace both thermistors and all was working fine. Two months later it happened again, he replaced them again but didn’t resolve the issue. He came back and said it was the PCB as the fan wasn’t working in the freezer. I have found a great company that repair these, and this resolved the issue for 2 weeks. Now the freezer has dropped to -17 and the fridge has gone up to 6. It’s had a full defrost, fluff from the vents have been hovvered out. The freezer fan seems to be working. And the compressor ( I think) is making sounds at the bottom under the panel near freezer. I don’t want to shell out anymore on this, but if it’s a simple, cheap fix I will give it one more chance.

    Thanks in advance.

Difficult to be sure with all thats been done, however if the compressor is running and the internal fan in the freezer is running you should be acheiving better temperatures.
It could therefore be low on refrigerant and need a check on the system, however without getting hands on it’s impossible to say for sure.
Does sound like more cost ahead !

Thanks for the reply, however last night it went bang, the fridge freezer is completly dead now. No LCD display but I have internal fridge light. I suspect this could be a fuse on the PCB perhaps? I took it apart and it looks like one of the blocks on the PCB is quite hot and has melted a bit of the cable, not sure if it was there before it’s only tiny.
