ParticipantHaving a bit of a problem with this model.
Found that the push button diffuser was broken as usual, ordered a new one which has been superceeded from 1251185300 to 1257429306
When fitted to the PCB it will not operate the tactile switches due to the fact that there is an 3-4mm gap between the switch and the diffuser 😕 it looks as if there should be another part to fit in between the two possibly a rubber diaphram 😕 . Anyone shed any light on this please.Wholesalers haven’t a clue as “computer say no” 😥 😥 😥

There’s 4 different diffusers fitting 4 different TCE7276W dryers so the PNc number would help to identify the correct one for you Mal 😉

All part of the service Mal. 8)
I can only think that perhaps (perhaps???) very careful location of the 2 part diffuser is required to close that 3-4mm gap?….. 😕 🙁

It’s wierd really, when the diffuser is fitted to the front panel all is well, you press button on the console and it has direct contact with the diffuser (white part) ., the problem lies with the white plastic insert as it can only be pushed as far as the clear diffuser, 3-4mm short of hitting the tactile switches 😥
I have given the local Servicefoce a ring as I know a couple of the boys there.
Keep everyone updated if I get a result.
Thanks Martin 😉 -
