My main oven won’t heat above 150c
Before the fault there was a light smell of burning and the main fusebox tripped.

I understand (having read this forum) that they are prone to blow the main element?
Could someone please inform me how I go about removing panels, locating element, checking it and replacing it etc?

I’m a complete novice but can’t afford to get someone in so I’m happy to give it a go, many thanks in anticipation.

could be one of the elements, top bottom or fan element, could be the main switch which comes with the loom complete, for a complete novice this isnt really the oven to be taking apart as it has a gas hob as well, the only way to check is to measure elements with a test meter and physically check the main switch with it unplugged of course.
