    Hi all,

    We have a broken belt on a Whirlpool Tumble dryer – AWZ650. The UKWhitegoods’ site reckon the belt is £12.42 but I don’t fancy delving beyond lifting the top cover.

    Fan and heater still working fine.

    Anyone willing to suggest a repairer in the Birmingham area?

    Hi lenx

    You could try the “find and engineer” link in your post, just pop in your postcode etc for your nearest engineer.

    Hi there – and Don too,

    I did try the find an engineer links, but the closest one was in Wolverhampton and they emailed to say we were out of their area. The other two options seemed to be even further away if the google search picked up the right info.

    Hence the appeal to the forum – that still stands, if I’m not breaking any forum rules.
