Hey folks had this a couple of weeks and over last few days temperature seems to have risen to 15C + -7C in fridge / freezer.

I suspect this to be a controller issue as I have barely heard the compressor but the fan still works in fridge compartment.

Just wondering before I contact DSG is there anything I could try (already unplugged and left a few minutes no luck).

Any help or known problems with this model or make in general will be appreciated.

    Olly.

ok an update just pulled a load of stuff out the freezer and the rear wall has a buildup of ice so has the evaporator frosted up? Is there a quick way to remove this frost as we have nowhere to put our frozen food 😯

I am expecting a Daewoo engineer to ring me today but I would liek to try what I can!

    Appreciate any help.

I thought I would update this post if only to be helpful to others with the same issue.

The engineer blamed us for leaving the door open, or at least, something jammed in the door seal, which I knew was not the case. Anyway, after much investigation, I found that the fan was running weakly, so while it was moving, it was not moving fast enough!

I replaced the fan with two computer fans (12Vdc) as a temporary measure, but it worked so well they never got replaced.. 6 years later it is still running flawlessly LOL!

I think the thing deserves a proper motor and now I have moved and can use the in-situ fridge for a while I will purchase one. I wonder if that will last 6 years?!?!
