Rinse light flashes continous, no motor action and then goes to end.

Put in new module which incorps brushes still the same.

Could it be control mod failure as all ok when she did her last wash.

did you “pop” the brushes in once you had secured the module???

if all the loom is ok to the motor its the lower control module

Thanks Russell, Yes I made sure the brushes went in ok.
After that I disconnected the motor and the light was flashing just the same, so I thought it was probably the module.

It will flash if motor is disconnected, PCB sends down a signal to motor to turn & if it gets no tacho signal back inside a few seconds it shows fault.

PCBs do cause this fault too, its quite common in them, moisture or steamy athmosphere in rooms where appliance is housed can cause problems, worth checking that too.
Sometimes a hairdryer on low heat can do the trick.
