    Customer moans that most times she puts m/c on any prog & it goes through the cycle as it should then proceeds to go on & tumble dry even tho’ the dryer timer is set to the off position! Tried it tonite on a spin prog & sure enough once complete, off it went in to the drying cycle even though the timer was off! Even when first selecting any prog except L (silks) the dryer neon comes on & flashes but not in any particular order,then it just stops flashing :rolls: 😯 . Any ideas before I have to strip the kitchen out to get at the ruddy thing.

    Sometimes the small connector comes adrift on the back of the dryer control switch causing this fault.

    I’ve had the console pcb causing this a couple of times, cuaght me out the 1st time but not the second, JJ
