    Apologies if this is old territory – couldn’t find an answer after searching forums.

    Our SUK80MFX oven will warm up and get hot, but doesn’t seem to respond to setting the temperature using the temperature dial. In other words, it’s just on, and keeps getting hotter and hotter.

    The component behing the dial looks slightly black and scorched – is this the thermostat?

    I’ve investigated replacement thermostats for this model, but the photos look similar but different to the part actually in the oven..

    Any help greatly appreciated
