Just had an old customer on the phone with this Stoves 600 hood.

He says the circuit board has blown and now nothing works at all on it, not even the light.

Never seen or touched one of these before. I know that Stoves spares can be very expensive is this likely to be worth having a look at or is the problem going to be pricy?

usually on cooker hoods its the bulb that blows, which in turn blows the circuit board .a soldering iron and cable to renew tracks usually does it,not familiar with that model number,m

Moved this to Trade Spares now.

Both bulbs appear to be OK.

It looks as though the fat and grease have run down into and over the small PCB, badly burnt out, beyond a simple soldering job, poor design for sure.

Model is a Stoves 600, nothing else on the instruction book but I do have a picture of the rating plate if required.

Where can I obtain one of these PCB’s or is it a call to Stoves direct?

Hi Jim, Got a few of these hood boards kicking about. If you can get some pics of the board I may have one. Not in a long black plastic clamshell is it?
