Customer pre-ordered a Samsung door seal despite being advised to have an engineer visit to confirm that seal was indeed faulty.
    Cost of seal? £125!!!

Ended up being the pressure switch.

Why do they do this? :rolls:

    Re: Doh!

Ive had that happen in the past. But not for £125 door seal .The price of that is crazy.Did she order the seal or did you have to get it.I think some of the bosch ones at £40 are over the top.Was it a nice seal though. 😆

A lot of the time they read bum information from Internet sites. 😉

“Oh yes lady it’s your door seal it is, I had one last week just the same, you needs a new door seal you do, that’ll sort it right enough my love! We has them in stock here and they’re only £125…how many would you like?”

    Re: Doh!

Had an LG machine on Monday which the owner had thrown money at buying a pressure sw, door seal & god knows what else to cure an intermittent overfill/leak fault.
The clue, had he thought about it, was it continuing to fill on 2 occasions despite being switched off at the wall! Answers on a postcard.. :rolls:

Anyway, i didnt wind him up too much cos i must admit i’m a terrible chap for fiddling with things i know not much about myself.. the secret is knowing where to stop though 🙂
