    Dear all,

Hoping somebody can help here. I have the above named cooker and my wife said whilst cooking the other day it made a loud bang and all the fuses tripped. After putting the fuses back on I’ve noticed that although the hob and grill work fine, the oven now seems to cook on full heat and ignores the temperature dial.

My Dad says it’s probably the thermostat, I’m clueless (computers are more my game!). Any ideas? Unsure of what part to get and even more unsure if this will be a job for me to fix or not. I’ve just taken the top of and it’s a mess of wires.

    Kind Regards..

    Karl

    ZCE7610W?

Problem will almost certainly be related to the fan oven element and the thermostat.

Element replacement is straightforward – remove rear inner panel for access (with the power off) to reveal all.
The oven thermostat, as you appear to have realised, is a bit of a cow.

Element is p/no 3116448006, thermostat is p/no 3890771243. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply these for you promptly if you wish to go ahead. Alternatively, use the repairs@ link on the left to find a UKW repairer in your area.

    Regards,

Thanks very much for your speedy response.

You don’t get service like that these days! 😀

EDIT: Yes, you’re correct on the model no. An extra 9 jumped onto the bandwagon! 😆
