F&P E521T fridge – freezer too cold

Hi,

The freezer compartment of my E521T fridge is too cold, even on the warmest temp setting. Temps measured with a thermometer – freezer temp off the scale (arctic conditions). Fan and compressor seem to be running excessively

Fridge compartment seems to be slightly colder also on almost warmest setting (one indicator light away from the warmest setting on the control panel).

Any ideas?

Also, as I touch on above, I don’t seem to have wide range in temperature scale on the control panel. Warmer settings range is limited as compared to colder setting. Is there a reason for this?

PS. I defrosted a small amount of ice build-up behind the panel in the freezer area. But made no difference in improvement to temp.
