I have a Bosch Classixx ( SGS55C02GB ). It started mid cycle the check water supply warning light coming on when using the quick cycle. Then I reset it and started using the eco cycle as the quick cycle would always have the check water warning light on after 1 minute of starting it. This has carried on for a couple of months and now, all cycles have a check water light on after one minute of starting it.
The water goes into the machine and is pumped out normally but nothing else happens. I have cleaned the water inlet pipes, disconnected and connected the supply, poured water into the machine and drained out the water, cleaned the filters and arms, cleaned the area by opening the torx screw.
It is all clean and the water is flowing in and flowing out properly. I have done reset as well but still no luck.
I cannot find any other solution in the forum posts. Please help at the earliest as I do not know what else to do.Re: Bosch Dishwasher Check Water Light problem
Hi, Sanjeev.
The initial part of any programme is to run the drain pump for approximately one minute. It should then start the fill sequence and you should hear water running into the machine, before the circulation pump cuts in.
Things to check are (obviously) that the water is actually turned on and that the fill hose is not trapped or kinked. Assuming that this side of things is OK, you may well be looking at the classic sludging problem with Bosch machines. You need to remove the lid and the left hand side panel for access – with the power off, first. You should see something like this:
The hose which exits bottom right of the matrix is prone to filling with all sorts of muck and goo. If it’s choked, the flood protection system will kick in and activate the “Check Water” light. Pulling it out and giving it a good clean will often sort all sorts of problems.
It is also possible that the inlet valve has failed. To check this you will need an electrical test meter to perform a resistance check of the solenoid coil – it should give an approximate reading of 3.5kOhms.
Stay safe – power off for anything other than observation.

Most likely culprit is the impeller jug/flowmeter p/no 424099.
Make sure you install new one in correct flow direction and orientation.Power off before attempting :plug:

Thanks for your prompt reply Penguin45 and gegsy.
I have checked the sludging problem but it is all clear. Forgot to mention earlier- machine is 3 yr old. Regarding inlet valve I guess, I will need to call the engineer out.Before I do that, and reading gegsy advice, where is the impeller jug located on this machine, where can I buy it from and steps of replacing it.

Impeller jug is inline with the internal fill hose which feeds to the heat exchanger tank.

If you look at Penguins pic , it’ll be connected to the bright blue hose on the left hand side .

The same thing happened to me. I took off the side panel and found the outlet pipes were blocked with dirty water but I couldn’t get access to them – designs on the web which show how you can pump them out are out of date. Before calling the engineer I tried one last throw of the dice. I got rid of as much dirty water in the bottom of the dishwasher as possible and turned it upside down. It worked!
