    Spotted this http://www.johnlewis.com/230554302/Product.aspx and wondered, who makes these for Rangemaster? And are they any good? I know Rangemaster are respected for cookers but they’re a bit of an unkown as far as dishwashers go!

    Looks like a Chinese style control panel, so that’ll be Haier or Midea then.

    Put ‘chinese AND dishwasher’ into the Search facility and prepare to be appalled……

    You are asking this in a professional capacity – perhaps you might like to tell us a little about Home Choice?

    Hi Penguin45 – I’m posting this as a consumer looking to buy a dishwasher! I did wonder if it would be a badged Chinese machine – as someone who works for John Lewis (although not in electricals) I am ashamed that we are selling something so potentially shoddy. Will stay away from the Rangemaster and go for a Neff I think.

    Homechoice was an ISP and IPTV provider which was sadly taken over by Tiscali a couple of years ago. However the TV service is good and the internet decent enough so I’ve stuck with them, despite the infamous customer service.

    Neff is a far more sensible choice. It is a better product, decent warranty as well.

    UKW member Don may be able to offer you some more specific pointers in the morning.

    Sorry about the HomeChoice bit – we are so un-indated with spammers and the like that the Admin/Mod team have developed very suspicious minds.

    Good choice methinks 😉 the Neff equivalent on paper spec would be the S54E53 the physical difference is chalk and cheese, totally super build, quality interior especially the baskets and runners. flexible fold down racks in baskets, height adjustable top basket without taking the whole thing out, easy to use and energy efficient too. Coupled with a two year warranty you won`t go far wrong. If you require more bells and whistles then there is the S5555 on the Neff dishwasher page.

    If you are intending to purchase through J.L.P for any staff discount, then this Neff S54M45 ticks all the boxes as well.
