    When on/off button pressed,only the on/off light comes on and then the door lock light as the door locks.Water valve is activated and the drum tumbles.Its the same whatever program it is set on.When program is cancelled the machine flashes(all lights) and switches off – it can only be restarted by switching on and off at the plug socket.Am I asking the obvious is it the pcb?

    check console module possible button /switch sticking also check motor brushes before fitting board

    it sounds like the pcb to me, i usually get one from tony at emw to try it.
