hi all dont know if should post this in trade spares but sure a mod will move if needs be.
cust had a firm out a couple of weeks ago and they changed the dist pipe to the top spray arm now when the cust runs it it pops out of the base and jams bottom spray arm also he says it used to have a very top spray arm now there is just a fitting and no spray arm.Has anyone got an exploded for this machine?hpw does the dist pipe fit it seems to just push in but the pressure pushes it steaight out.sorry for the long winded post.

This problem is common on Whirlpool dishwashers – the part you need is the “filter cover sieve” and it fits to the sump. Take out the filters, remove the lower rotor, lift the top rotor supply pipe out of its position, take off the cover (that goes round the pipes) and the “filter cover sieve” is now exposed. It is the part that the bottom rotor screws on to. Just unsrew and replace this piece.
If you look carefully at the pipe sockets, you will notice 2 square holes either side of the pipe sockets. These are the locking tabs for the pipe unit and they will almost certainly be broken. 😉

thanks fo reply aqua but do you know if the very top of dishwasher has a spray arm as the cust is sure it did.
