To be honest this washing machine has never been good, i personally feel that the manufacturers build these things to go wrong, to make money from the call outs, or so that you take out the extended warranty! I’ve had the problem with all the LED’s coming on twice, the machine then stops working, had to have a man out (twice), then the catch on the door broke, another visit, then the on/off button went inside, yet another visit and now finally, after about 10/15 minutes of drying the machine lets out a very annoying screech, that does not cease until i turn it off. I let it cool down, start again and within another 10 minutes it’s doing it again! It seems to me that it is a problem with overheating, we obviously called the man out again, unfortunately it was my partner at home and he obviously took the opportunity to feed her a load of patronising twaddle about the drum expanding when it heats up, then as it spins round it makes a noise! which i could understand a little if the drum constantly spun round, but it doesn’t, it stops every couple of seconds, which it’s supposed to do, but it’s still screeching! He had his Laptop out, which to somebody un-knowing looks professional!
I do work in the electrical trade on the security side of things, but am not fully conversant with washing machines, but i’m getting to the point of taking the lid off and looking myself, only that will void my extended warranty!
    Any ideas out there?

Either Blower motor or drain pump noisy. Unplug power if you are going in.
