Hello all, i really hope I can get some help here.

I have an old Bosch SPS5462 dishwasher. It performed a couple of poor washes, leaving things dirty. Then stopped working, no water is entering the machine.

I got laid off from my work on Monday, so don’t really want to call in a professional, i’m hoping its a blockage or similar, and i might be able to fix myself.

The problem i’m having is i can’t see an obvious way to get access to the guts of the machine. Having taken the top and side panels off, i can’t see how you access the pump and guts that are in the base of the machine.

I pretty handy and good with my hands but i don’t want to break it trying to mend it and therefore seek your advice. 😀

I’ll upload some photos if that will help?

    Thanks for any help.

The SEARCH facility is a very useful tool. 😉

If you enter Bosch AND Dishwasher AND cleaning, in that exact format you will get plenty of reading material.

This one is a good example.

The machine is built on the white plastic chassis tray at the bottom of the machine. The only way to get full access to the base components is to remove the stainless steel cavity from the base assembly.

    You won’t enjoy it much…..
