The video on the new DVD for the latest ISE 2 AW23 is in M4V file format.
Windows Media Player may not be able to play this with its standard codecs.
If you have problems running the video then you can download this small video player which runs the video perfectly.
The VLC Player.

Just gone through the DVD. There are a lot of files that don’t have the correct Acrobat icon. There is one file DS_store that is possibly a system file and will not open.
I can open all the others, mainly by right clicking and selecting Open, then selecting the program I want to open the file. In this instance Acrobat Reader 7.0, some of them will open in Acrobat Reader right away without having to do this.
I have been able to open all of the other files using this method.
This screenshot of one ISE10 folder is full of the standard Windows icon in place of the Acrobat Reader one they should have.

I can open the pdf files, can’t open the ones with spots one – computer says it needs to find the programme which created it.

I’ll get a look at it at some time but all that I checked worked okay on an Mac and PC. 😕

Its not just the Swedish ones. There are one or two of the Vestel files that should have an Acrobat Reader icon that only have what Chris calls the ones with spots on. 😆
What is weird is that the ISE10 dryer Service Bulletins all have six spots and the washer Service Bulletins all have three spots.
I have gone through them all and the only ones I cannot open are files numbered 47,52-1,58 and 60 in the dryer service bulletins and 173,177,179,205 and 207 in the washer service bulletins. I get file not found for those.
What OS are you using Chris, I am running Win XP Home and can open all of the others without any problems.
Most of the time I get the dialogue box shown in the picture above, sometimes I get this one. It has an option at the bottom to select the button to check for programs on your PC that will open the file, selecting that takes you to the options box shown in the post above.
