ParticipantPlease can anyone help ! Just purchased new module part no 489607 to replace damaged module part no 489435 .The damaged module is now sustituted by the new module above which seems to fit many models . The problem is there are some fitting instructions which I cannot work out . It states that I have to cut a wire and splice it to another position to make it work like the old G and H control module . Then I have to turn off the special circulating pump control (sicasym) . All this is no problem together with recoding to work my model properly. Trouble is it then says this only applies to appliances up to Kl12or K/12 how can I tell if this corresponds to my machine as there are no numbers at all anything like this . Has anyone out there encountered this before as I dont want to cut wires or fit new part until I’m sure its right especially after spending heavy money ! Thanks heres hoping.

ParticipantOn the instructions , it may say the words ‘up to Kl xx , carry out the modification. ‘
The Kl refers to the number after your ENr model number which in your case is the /42 at the end of the model number . If the instructions say , for example , ‘up to Kl 45’ , you would have to do the mod . If it said ‘upto Kl 38’ then the mod is not needed .
Edit : Have just re-read your post . As its says up to Kl12 , you won’t need to do any mod
