Those of us with long memories will recall that Kelvinator was a part of the old Candy operations in the UK but the brand was actually owned by Electrolux and it’s now apparently been sold to an Indian retailer.
How much it was sold for has not been disclosed.

“Our mission has always been to serve the diverse needs of every Indian by making technology accessible, meaningful, and future-ready,” said Isha M Ambani, Executive Director, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL).
Reliance Retail has been operating the Kelvinator brand in the region since 2019 under a deal they had with Electrolux, much as others have had in the past in various regions.
